The Impacts of Unmanaged Stormwater

Join us for an educational webinar on unmanaged stormwater and the many issues New Jersey residents face as a result. We'll cover what stormwater is, why it needs to be managed, and local issues including severe flooding, toxic algal blooms, and overwhelmed sewer systems. As climate change brings more intense storms and warmer temperatures, managing our stormwater will become more important to our protecting our communities and waterways.

Speakers

  • Dr. Meiyin Wu, Director of New Jersey Center for Water Science and Technology and Professor of Biology
  • Susan Rosenwinkel, Bureau Chief, Surface Water Permitting with the NJDEP

Sponsored by: New Jersey LCV Education Fund, Jersey Water Works, New Jersey Highlands Coalition, and New Jersey Sustainable Business Council
