As a member of the Class of 2021, you're invited to join us on March 30 for Beginning Your Career: An Alumni Panel. Join us for tips on how to elevate your career. Three Montclair State alumni will share how to best present yourself in an interview and how you can make the best start in a new job.

Hosted by the Office of Alumni Engagement, this virtual Zoom event will feature talent management professionals Keesha Chavis '97, '03 MA, Chris Fitzpatrick '04 and Bisrat ‘Bis’ Mekbeb '01.

About the Speakers

Keesha Chavis '97, '03 MA is a dual graduate of Montclair State University, completing a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1997 and a master's degree in Administration and Supervision in 2003. Keesha returned to Montclair State in 2007 in the Human Resources department. Keesha remains very involved in the Montclair State community as both an alumna and employee.

Christopher Fitzpatrick '04 graduated from the School of Business at Montclair State University in 2004. He was a double major in Management and Marketing. Throughout his college career, he was a member of numerous student organizations and clubs and was very actively involved in SGA and athletics. Chris continues his connections and involvement with the University as a highly engaged alumnus. Chris has had a successful career in talent acquisition and credits his success to his time at Montclair State University.

Bisrat “Bis” Mekbeb '01 graduated from the College of Humanities and Social Science at Montclair State University in 2001. Bis majored in General Humanities. Since graduating, Bis has had a successful career in human resources where he focuses on diversity and inclusion and organizational effectiveness.
