The Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies program is hosting a virtual conversation with Da'Shaun L. Harrison on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. I know that many of our students discuss and research body shaming, body image, disordered eating, weight stigma. Harrison is an important scholar and activist who is expanding these discussions beyond the interpersonal, exploring the ways that anti-fatness is structural and systemic. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend this conversation! The Zoom link is below.
