This K-12 professional development program helps educators andstudent teachers craft powerful anti-racist lessons on the history ofthe Black freedom struggle. Join Montclair State professors andeducators from the New-York Historical Society for an engagingworkshop that will include hands-on activities with primary historicaltexts relating to women in the Black civil rights movement. Our goal is to help teachers contextualize the Black LivesMatter movement in the long civil rights movement.
