All are invited to a talk Monday, Oct. 4 at 12:30pm (in-person or via Zoom)
by visiting researcher Dr. Diego Baldi of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) on the curious treatise of Michael Neander concerning ancient libraries--including, interestingly, antediluvian libraries--and libraries in later times.
Diego Baldi, trained in Italy in Classics and in library and archival sciences, is a scholar who studies the history of libraries, their contexts, and individuals connected with them. He is currently visiting MSU on a research trip to begin a study of John Cotton Dana, early 20th century founder of the Newark Museum.
In person: University Hall, ADP Center, room 1120
