The PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies (PSEG ISS) is partnering once again with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers’ (SHPE) Latinxs in Sustainability (LIS). Please join us on Friday, June 18th from 12-1PM EST for our next event, The Intersection of Climate and Social Justice: Part IV - Barrier Island Migration, Sea-Level Rise, and Coastal Protection: Insights from Long Beach Island, New Jersey. This fourth part of the Intersection of Climate and Social Justice series, will be a guided discussion with Dr. Jorge Lorenzo Trueba around environmental forecasting and how physical, biological processes, and the coupling between them affect certain ecosystems. Dr. Trueba has focused the majority of his research around coastal ecosystems, their evolution, and the impacts they have on certain communities. We hope you can join us for this exciting discussion!
