Two-day series of workshops and discussions on getting started with college teaching. Designed for MSU doctoral students expecting to teach in Fall 2021 but anyone with an interest in teaching or learning more on specific teaching topics is welcome to join. 

Teaching Principles, MSU Syllabus, Navigating the University Participants will be walked through “Teaching at Montclair,” from the recently adopted Teaching Principles to the nuts and bolts of building a syllabus: course goals, student learning objectives, and the basics of Canvas.
