Montclair State’s Veteran Resource Office is partnering with Edge4Vets to bring their “Plan4Success” workshop series to New Jersey. This two part workshop series (April 13th & April 28th/1:00pm-2:30pm ) will help veterans, servicemembers, spouses/dependents build a success plan which includes; resumes, interviewing skills, networking skills, etc. For this particular workshop series New Jersey Transit (whose CEO Kevin Colbert is a Navy Veteran and is very passionate about hiring veterans and their family members) is taking part and will have managers/decision makers from the following departments:

- Administration Department

- Business/Finance Departments

- Rail/Surface Department (Engineers, Logistics, Scheduling, Maintenance, etc)

- New Jersey Transit Police Department

You will be able to connect directly with the very people who are making decisions on who to hire. Even if you do not have any interest in applying with New Jersey Transit you will walk away with all the tools needed for you to better position yourself against other candidates when applying for jobs. You will also be connecting with Edge4Vets that regularly holds workshops with decision makers and hiring managers from all types of companies and agencies across the Tri-State Area.
